Tamil Nadu Teacher Recruitment 2024 Apply – DIRECT RECRUITMENT FOR THE POST OF SECONDARY GRADE TEACHERS – 2024 Applications are invited for Direct Recruitment for the post of SECONDARY GRADE TEACHERS in the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu Elementary Educational Subordinate
Service for the year 2023-2024 from the eligible candidates of Tamil Nadu only through Online mode up to 5.00 p.m. on 15.03.2024.
The Candidates applying for the post of SECONDARY GRADE TEACHERS should possess a valid Tamil Nadu Teachers Eligibility Test Certificate (TNTET – Paper– I).
The Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TN TRB) is set to commence the application process for 1768 secondary grade teachers’ posts starting February 14. Examination Fee:
- General candidates are required to pay ₹600 for the examination,
- while SC, SCA, ST, and differently-abled persons have a reduced fee of ₹300.
TN TRB SGT Selection Process 2024
Selection process for the post of Secondary Grade Teacher likely consists of two stages, which are Written Exam and Documentation. Candidates who appear in first one and pass it by securing at least cut off marks or more will be called for second stage, and then final selection list will be on the basis of applicants performance in the Written Exam.

TN TRB Secondary Teacher Exam Pattern 2024
- Part A and Part B of the TN TRB Exam 2024 will be administered in separate sessions.
- Part A will receive a total of 50 marks, while Part B will receive 150 points.
- Part B questions all carry one mark.
- Objective-type questions will be included in Part A, while multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and an optical mark reader (OMR) exam will be included in Part B.
