TRAFFIC PLAN & ADVISORY FOR ,03/02/2023
Commuters are advised not to travel on jammu Srinagar NHW NH-44 without confirming the status of road from TCU JAMMU/RAMBAN & SRINAGAR in view of inclement weather prediction issued by met department
Tomorrow 03/02/2022 Subject to fair and better Road condition LMVs(Passenger)/ private Cars shall be allowed from Both sides of on Jammu-Srinagar NHW viz Jammu towards Srinagar and vice versa. TCU Jammu shall liaise with TCU Ramban before releasing the traffic.
CUT OFF TIMING:
LMVs/private Cars from Nagrota (Jammu) at 1000 hrs to 1300 hrs, & from Jakheni (Udhampur) at 1100 hrs to 1400 hrs (subject to change depending on the road position then) No Vehicle shall be allowed before and after cut off timings.
HMVs/Load Carriers
Subject to better road condition, HMVs shall be allowed from Jakheni (Udhampur) towards Srinagar after assessing the traffic situation on NHW. TCU Udhampur shall liaise with TCU Ramban before releasing the HMVs.
SFs Convoy Movement
Security Forces are advised/requested not to ply against advisory/traffic plan in view of traffic congestion on Jammu-Srinagar NHW. They may ply from Jammu towards Srinagar after confirming the status of NHW.
MUGHAL ROAD/SSG ROAD/KISHTWAR-SINTHAN ROAD
Mughal Road, Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumri Road and Kishtwar-Sinthan Road closed for vehicular movement by the Administration in view of snow accumulation .
