For admission to the Army, Navy, and Air Force branches of the Indian Defence Forces, UPSC administers the NDA test twice a year. Passing this test opens up officer recruitment opportunities in the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force.
UPSC NDA 2024 Application Form
Online applications for NDA 2 2024 will be made available by the Commission at upsc.gov.in on May 15, 2024. Eligible candidates will be able to fill out the NDA 2 Two-part application for 2024.
They must fill out Part 2 of the One Time Registration (OTR) form to be eligible to take the UPSC NDA test in 2024. They must log in to part II to complete out NDA form 2024 and pay the examination costs.
How to Apply for UPSC NDA 2024?
- Look at the www.upsc.gov.in official website.
- After selecting OTR (one-time registration), fill out the required fields.
- Enter your registration ID and password to log in now and complete the application.
- Complete Parts I and II of the application form.
- Carefully fill out the necessary fields, such as exam center choices, communication, qualification, and personal information.
- Upload files in the specified format, such as a signature and a picture.
- You have the option to pay offline or online.
- Check and double-check the application form, then print it out for future use.
NDA 2 2024 Vacancy
On 15 May 2024, the UPSC NDA 2 2024 test official NDA 2 Notification 2024 will be released, along with the total number of positions to be filled via the NDA 2 2024 exam.

NDA Eligibility Criteria 2024
Candidates cannot apply for jobs in the defense sector unless they meet the basic requirements. The information on Education Requirements, Age Limit, Nationality, and Physical Standards is provided below.
Age limit
- Applicants for NDA 2024 must be between the ages of 16.5 and 19.5 (born no earlier than July 2, 2002, and no later than July 1, 2005).
Educational Qualification
- Candidates for the Army wing need to have completed Class 12/HSC.
- Candidates for the Indian Naval Academy’s 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme and the Air Force must have completed Physics and Mathematics in Class 12.
Physical Measurement
- The minimum length for the Army, Navy, and Naval Academy is 157 cm.
- Minimum Size for Air Force: 162.5 cm
UPSC NDA Selection Process 2024
A significant number of young people who want to join the Indian Army take the NDA test, which is an important exam. Each year, a large number of students apply for this exam.
The purpose of this UPSC test, which is administered twice a year, is to choose cadets to attend the National Defence Academy (NDA) and eventually be commissioned as officers in the Indian Army.
There are three essential elements in the NDA selection process:
- NDA Written test: Passing the written test is required of candidates.
- Interview with the Service Selection Board (SSB): Those who pass the written test are invited to an interview with the SSB.
- Medical Examination: To determine if an applicant is fit to serve in the Indian Army, they must undergo a comprehensive medical examination after the interview.
