- Applicants must possess a Graduation Degree and have a Diploma in Elementary Education under the NCTE.
- Applicants must have passed the Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) Paper – I.

Age Limit
The upper age limit for TN TRB Secondary Teachers Recruitment for the General Category candidates is 53 years, while the upper age limit for the Reserved category is 58 years. The cut-off date for age calculation is 01 July 2024.
