Scholarship scheme in Jammu & Kashmir 2024| Apply Online Now National Scholarship Portal 2024-25 – The National Scholarship Portal (NSP) is the central portal to apply for state-level, centre-level, and UGC scholarship schemes. NSP registration forms are available online on the NSP scholarship portal, The National Scholarship Portal last date for central schemes is December 31, 2023. Students can apply for central schemes through the NSP 2.0 portal. The last date for UGC/AICTE and state schemes is also December 31, 2023.

  1. National Scholarship Portal 2024 – Different Scholarships

    There are various scholarship programs for students of class 1 to Ph.D. Students can apply through the National scholarship portal registration site: The NSP 2023-24 is categorised into 3 different sections that are:

    1. Central Schemes
    2. UGC Schemes
    3. State Schemes


Eligibility criteria will not entitle grant of scholarship due to fixed number of slots in a year

In case adequate number of female candidates are not available or not found eligible as per the terms and conditions of the scheme, the unutilized slots will be utilized by selecting suitable male candidates.

Steps for NSP Registration 2023-244 through National Scholarship Portal

  • Visit the official website of NSP 2.0:
  • Look for the “New Registration” tab available on the top menu, and click on it.
  • A new NSP registration form 2024 will appear on screen.
  • After that, select the scholarship from the various schemes for which the candidate is eligible.
  • Candidates are asked to enter their name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID, state of domicile, category, and bank details.
  • Then, upload a copy of the Bank Passbook in PDF or JPEG Format with size of 200KB and enter the captcha given on the right side.
  • Click on register to submit the details at National Scholarship Portal 2.0 to get a unique application number.

After this, the candidate will receive the NSP student login details like application number and password on their registered mobile number.

Answer: No only Schedule Tribe students of the Jammu & Kashmir can apply for the
Scholarship under this Scheme.
Question No. 02. Who should be the competent authority for issuing the Income
Answer: Incase case of Parents/Guardian non-Government Employees the Income
Certificate should be issued by the Concerned Tehsildar Only, in case of
Parents/Guardians Government Employee/Pensioner the Salary/Pension Certificate
must be issued by the concerned DDO/Treasury Officer.
Question No. 03. Whether the student can apply for different Scholarship Schemes for
different courses during the same academic year?
Answer: No the student can apply for only one particular Scheme/course during the
same academic year
