JK General Administration Department Recruitment 2022:Applications on prescribed proforma (given in the below-mentioned notification), are invited from the citizens of India, for the positions of Chairman and Member(s) in the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations.

The last date for receipt of the application form is 10 May 2022. Applications received after cutoff date shall not be entertained.

1. Number of Posts

The number of posts to be filled up shall be as under:

  • Chairman 01
  • Member(s) as may be determined by the Government

2. Remuneration:
The Chairman and Member(s) shall receive salary/allowances and facilities
as per their entitlement.

3. Upper Age Limit:

Age of the candidate(s) as on 1st January, 2022 shall not exceed 62 years
and shall not be subject to any relaxation.
4. Term of Office:
The appointment of the candidate as Chairman or Member(s) shall be
made on tenure basis upto a maximum of two years and the candidate
shall be eligible for re-appointment for another such term or until he/she
attains the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier.

5. Essential Minimum qualification and experience:

A candidate shall be eligible for consideration for selection/appointment only if he/she possesses following qualification/experience:
a. Chairman:
an academician or educationist of high repute having served for not less than 25 years or a person who holds or has held the post of a Secretary to Government or equivalent.”
b. Member:
“an academician of repute having served in the Union territory of Jammu
and Kashmir for not less than 20 years or a person having served as
Special Secretary to the Government or against equivalent post or
Professor of a University or College.

6. How to Apply:

Applications duly completed in all respects and accompanied with the documentary evidence, on the prescribed proforma, shall be submitted either through email: [email protected] person (hardcopy) in the office of Principal Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department, Civil Secretariat,
Jammu/ Srinagar by or before the notified cutoff date.
i.  Recommendations made by a Government Department or any University or any other  recognized autonomous or statutory institution shall also be treated as applications against the aforementioned posts. Applications and recommendations shall also
contain.
ii.  the details of the candidates as specified in the advertisement.
